To prevent mosquito bites, the CDC recommends using insect repellent, covering up while your outdoors, and keeping mosquitos outside by keeping doors closed/using screens on windows. The community can also take steps to control the mosquito population. One of these steps is the professional spraying of yards to remove adult mosquitos flying in the air and larvae.
